Holland v France

Holland will play host to France for an international friendly match Rotterdam on Wednesday evening. Dutch coach Dick Advocaat have managed to put together a strong squad but will have to start without Arjen Robben and Patrick Kluivert. Apart from that, Frank de Boer, Lazio's Jaap Stam and AC Milan's Clarence Seedorf are also unavailable due to injury problems. Like Holland, France is also without several big names for this friendly match at Rotterdam. France coach Jacques Santini will have to start without Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane, Steve Marlet, Arsenal's Robert Pires and Patrick Vieira. Zidane will be replaced by Fulham's Steed Malbranque with Sidney Givou replacing Pires and Bruno Cheyrou standing in for Steve marlet and Benoit Pedretti filling in for Vieira. Holland are very strong at home with wins over Austria (3-1), Moldova (5-0), Scotland (6-0) and USA (1-0) while France are looking for their 15th consecutive win after their most recent 0-2 away win over Belgium in February. However, without Zidane, Vieira and Pires in midfield, Holland's Dick Advocaat is certain to capitalise on this and create another history by defeating the French team.

Probable Score : Holland 1-0 or 2-1 France
