Croatia v Turkey

Croatia will seek a return to winning ways when they host Turkey for an international friendly match at Zagreb on Wednesday evening. Otto Baric's side were beaten 1-2 at home by Germany on their last international friendly match but striker Dado Prso is confident that they will emerge victorious against out-of-form form Turkey. However, Baric will be hoping that Prso, Milan Rapaic and Igor Tudor are able to start after being rated as doubtful earlier this week. Werder Bremen's Ivan Klasnic, Joey Didiluca, Robert and Niko Kovac are all out due to injury. Meanwhile, Turkey is looking forward to register a first victory since August 2003 when they last beat Moldova 2-0 in Ankara. Turkey will be under caretaker coach Unal Karaman after chief coach Senol Gunes resigned his position last week. Karaman have an uphill task ahead of this match as Turkey have only won 3 of their last 20 international friendly matches. With Gunes' resignation from Turkey's head coach, The Croats are expected to beat the low morale Turks.
